Beautifully Restored Boatshed By The Waters Edge
$790.00 for two per weekend
'BATHERS BOATSHED' is one of the few original boatsheds remaining along the waterfront. The main boatshed is now the living space, with two comfortable day beds, armchairs, books, music & a kitchenette. The galley area is situated on the outdoor covered deck, with cooktop, microwave, a traditional gas BBQ, fridge & freezer....everything for preparing simple gourmet dishes. The galley adjoins the outdoor dining area.......perfectly positioned to capture the views, where an outdoor gas heater is also in place to take the chill off the cooler evenings.
The master bedroom with king bed connects to the main boatshed via a small terrace, & has floor to ceiling folding doors that span the width of the bedroom, creating an indoor / outdoor ambience when fully opened. The bedroom by day, transforms in to a tranquil space to while away the hours, whilst watching the change of light on the distant hills & on the water. The TV/DVD/Video is also located in the master bedroom.
The island ferry passes by on a regular basis, stopping at the adjoining public wharf; & three local boats tie up at the Bathers Boatshed co-op wharf; so there is always something to observe from the sheltered & private surrounds of the boatshed. The front of the jetty can be booked for arrival by own boat by prior arrangement
